Has anyone successfully integrated facial analysis tools into their Shopline store for personalized product recommendations?

I'm building a beauty/fashion store and want to add a feature where customers can detect their face shape, skin tone, or facial features to get tailored product suggestions (e.g., eyewear, hairstyle products, makeup).

I found FaceAuraAI.com which offers free facial analysis APIs (face shape detection, facial symmetry, etc.), but I'm not sure about the best approach to integrate this with Shopline's Storefront API.

My questions:

Can I call external APIs from Shopline's frontend and pass the results to product filtering?

Has anyone implemented similar personalization features using custom attributes or product tags?

Are there rate limit concerns when combining Shopline API calls with third-party analysis tools?
